“Hello, Doctor. I trust you’ve been enjoying your accommodations?”
“Oh yeah, definitely,” replied the Doctor less than sincerely, looking around his dingy cell. “And I must say, Skaro looks great all things considered.”
“All things considered?” asked Davros smarmily.
“I blew it up.”
“Decidedly not,” the Dalek commander responded with an evil grin.

Ceasefire: notes from the author
So today was Paul McGann’s birthday, the fellow who is best known by you guys as the actor that plays the Eighth Doctor.

and you know what would be a good way for us to celebrate?
if I posted an update for the first time in two months.
so I’m going to
because I just finished it
and it was not easy to finish
and I pulled at least one all nighter working on it
(during which I looked like this…)

but I think it was worth it
because this update is seriously the length of four or five updates
it’s like when homestuck did that the one time recently
sort of.
and it also means the interrogation scene will be over, which means I won’t have to draw Eight in that awkward trapped-in-a-chair pose anymore
which you’ve got to admit is at least less awkward than the bizarre harness thing from the movie

moving right along…
Anyhow, thank you so all much, those that have stuck with the comic, for being patient through this…hiatus, if you will! I really appreciate that you’re following, and I hope you continue reading because I’ve got a lot of surprises in store for both Classic and Nu Who fans alike. And my apologies for the length between updates, but after seeing the art for this next one I hope you’ll understand.
I promise you won’t be disappointed with this next installment in the Time War tale! It should be up in a few minutes now…
Enjoy the series seven premiere, everybody!
Thought I would do a little drawing of our narrator and our protagonist as a thank you to everyone who’s started reading Time War, and in celebration of hitting two follower milestones in the past couple of days.
